iReceivables Manage Customer Account Access

Hoping someone can help me with this?
We have iReceivables Self Registration enabled which works fine and have since enabled the Manage Customer Account Access to allow a registered user the ability to grant themselves access to additional customer accounts.
The MCAA appears to be working and is correctly assigning the user (customer contact) access to the requested customer account however when checking closely I have found that it is not correctly picking up the users (customer contact) email address and this remains blank.
In short when requesting access to a new customer account the access is being granted, the account can be seen etc but the email for the customer contact is being left blank.
