through workflow if i assign user ACls are not applying under approval step

Hi All,

Please provide the solution for below issue.

I am running an application on web center content (11.1.1.8) ADF UI. Whenever user logging  into the system workflow(criteria with 1 step) will trigger and an email notification will sent to the reviewer.

In the workflow at  Entry event of the workflow I am passing ACLs through wfUpdateMetaData("XClabraUserList", "&xyz(R)") permissions to the document. If I logged in to the system with xyz(having security group[RWD]) but unable to edit the metadata of the document.

Kindly provide the any solution for this.
