unicode conversion - Unicode Conversion

We are planning for unicode conversion for datawarehouse instance(11.2.0.3) and we are in the initial phase to plan the migration. It would be helpful to us if someone can refer any documents which talks about best practices for unicode conversion. Specifically we need to know the impact of data which comes to and going out of datawarehouse instance.
We have numerous feeders to this instance. What would be the impact of data coming from different other sources to this instance and data going out from this environment to other different sources.
