Bursting works for EXCEL template in R12?

Hi,

We have a requirement to generate report output in EXCEL format, and also with contents in multiple tabs.

So we opted using EXCEL template this time. When we are try to burst the data, it is not giving desired results.

Even after going through several discussions over forums, we're unable to figure out whether XML bursting really supports EXCEL templates.

Kindly suggest any solutions or workarounds.

PS: Our EBS version is R 12.1.3
