Creating custom Start menu to filter by locale

Hi,

We have contents with multiple locale in the Sites .

Is it possible to create custom Search Item to filter content by locale.

Example Search English content, Search Japanese content, Search Arabic Content etc.

I know we have Save Search option in Administrator Interface and Smart List in Contributor Interface but that will not come as Start Search Item in the right hand section of the Contributor Interface.
