database instance running on node 2 has local_listener set to vip of node 1

Hello,

We had a scenario where we moved database instance of node 1 to node 2 .Now the database instance has local_listener pointing to vip of node 1 and the listener of node 1 is supporting the services of database on node 2.Even the users have vip entry for node 1 and are able to connect to the database.

Is this possible?So can we have a database instance on node to to point to local listener on node 1 by setting the vip of node 1 in local_listener parameter?
