PO 9.1: How can we ensure there will be no rejection on early or late shipments

We can set early reject days at various levels. But, For our purposes, we would like to keep our existing lead times the way they are but would like to receive items early without any rejections. How can we make this happen?
The other thing to note here is that when we do a manual receipt we get a warning on early receipt but let's us do the receiving. For ASN receipts this is going into error status.
Please advice.
