siebel 8.2 on Linux with sqlserver

For a POC, we are installing siebel 8.2 on OEL 6.5 with sqlserver 2k8 as db . we  want to try  this combination because 8.2 db install gives the option to chose sqlserver while configuring. First challenge we faced is odbc connectivity to sqlserver from Linux and i do not see any Authorized documentation from oracle on this and we tried following MSDN to get odbc drivers to connect with sqlserver but it did not given fruitful results. Can pl anyone help if this combination tried any where else and detail documentation on implementation for this combination??

And biggest question is , whether this combination is really work??? for siebel.
