How to connect Smartview to Essbase (we are using version 11.1.1.3)

Hello, could you please let me know how ( step by step)  to connect smartview to Essbase ( we are using version 11.1.1.3) I was able to connect to Planning workspace but do not know how to use smartview to Essbase and make the connections.
