Opportunity Reporting with associated Customer Object records

First, sorry for the length of this, but wanted it to be clear.

 

This question relates to creating a real-time (not historical) report using both Opportunities and Customer Object 1. Customer Object 1 I’ll call Aircraft.  There are over 700 aircraft choices.  So a single opportunity may have two different aircraft associated with it, say a 737 and a 747.  The report needs to show on a single row the Opportunity and as one of the columns, a compilation of the aircraft associated with that Opportunity.  The key here is it needs to be on a single row, not multiple rows.  Our issue is we can’t figure out how to keep the opportunity
