Journal Commit I/O Error on OEL 4

Hi Oracle Community,

          Recently, we have encountered an error on our OEL 4 OS "Journal Commit I/O Error". We cannot read/write on the filesystem on our OS due to this error. Any insights on to what would be the possible cause of this issue? What we have done to fix this was to restart the server.
