NIS performance statistics gathering

Hi All,

We are currently running NIS master  on solaris 10 (sparc) serving around 400 servers.

We are planning to introduce more applications to the environment which might increase the usage of the naming service.

Hence we would like to gather the NIS performance statistics of the current infra as baseline and plan for the upgrades of the infra as we introduce the applications in phases if required.

I would need experts advices on how to capture the vital NIS statistics which will help with performance planning of the naming services.
