XID doesnt match with GID

We generate Inbound and Outbound Xdock OMs from order releases. OM XID and GID look good when generated. However when planners modify order movements (Change Dates/Ship with group etc) before running planning action, we have observed that  XIDs of some of the OMs get changed and OM is linked to some other order release instead of its original parent order release.

While discussing with planners we figured that usually they select multiple outbound OMs together and then make changes on all of them by clicking Next button before finally clicking Finish. That is when the OM XIDs and related OR IDs get mixed up.
