Web Applet for Desktop and Ipad

Hello Everyone,

     I have been trying to get my custom web applet to access separate urls based
on the environment they are in. If I use a mobile url then the Ipad works great
but not the desktop. If I use my "standard" url then the desktop
environments works but not the Ipad. I have been trying to use the
navigator.useragent to detect environments.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
