R12108 Asset Transfer is erroring out with codes 062X and 063N

I'm trying to transfer some assets from one asset cost account to another.  I have done this succesfully in the past but cannot tell what may have changed with our system that it is not recognizing the set up properly.  The error codes I'm getting are 062X Invalid Asset Cost Account and 063N Default coding not set up.  The asset cost account does exist as well as the default coding for the account.  Does anyone have any suggestions?
