Let's talk about License Keys

in Mainframe Library Storage Software (MOSC)

As of March 2010, the license key requirement has been removed from the supported Oracle StorageTek Mainframe Software products.

However, a software update may be needed, so that a license key does not need to be loaded.

Please reference Doc ID 1015377.1, to see if an update is needed for this.

Finally, if an existing license key is expiring and the necessary software maintenance update cannot be immediately applied, please open an SR in My Oracle Support (MOS) so that a Technical Support Engineer can generate a new permanent license key.
