recover database asking for too old archivelog sequence??

I'm creating a single instance database on a file system from a RAC database 11.2.0.3 on ASM using rman restore, every time after successfully restoring the database, and when it comes to recover database until sequence I got ORA-00279 asking for a very old seq. from 2012, while the full hot (online) backup is taken last week (16 April 2014)

Note: When selecting status from v$datafile, while database is mounted, I got no offline files, all are either SYSTEM or ONLINE.

Any ideas what could be the reason for that?
