Embedded BI Publisher template not grouping correctly

I am working with Embedded BI Publisher,tools 9.1.3.4 and JD Edwards Enterprise One  9.0.

BI Publisher MS Word template builder 11.1.1.5.0  Build 174 (5.11.48)

I have an rtf I’m working on that needs to page break on each ship to number.  I add the grouping to cover all the detail portion of the page (tried regular group then tried XML path).  It does break on the Ship To # but I lose customer related data and end up with just item related info probably because it's in a table.   Someone I know with BIP Enterprise was able to take my template and setup the group and it works fine but when I add the grouping it loses data.  Any thoughts on what’s going on
