Oracle Database Control and RMAN. Effect of selection in "Disk Settings" seems disregarded.

Oracle 11.2.0.4 on Windows 64-bit. RMAN administered by OEM Database Control Interface.

In setting up backups via the OEM DB COntrol interface, in the tab "Backup Settings" we explicitly choose "Backup Set". The reason for this is that we do not have enough space in the Flash Recovery Area to base our backups on Image Copies. The interface for Backup Settings presents 3 choices by Radio Button, from which we choose "Backup Set" to the exclusion of the other choices "Compressed Backup Set" and "Image Copy". Our inference here is that we are explicitly choosing "Backup Set" and implicitly rejecting "Compressed Backup Set" and "Image Copy". Our asumption would be that are
