Implementing open UI from 8.1.1.4

Hello,

Our existing environment is at 8.1.1.4. We are planning to implement open UI and are analyzing the effort required for this activity. At this moment we are evaluating the pros and cons of upgrading to 8.1.1.10 or 8.1.1.11.

As per what Ive understood from reading the bookshelf and release notes of both these versions, it appears that 8.1.1.10 is a "small" upgrade compared to 8.1.1.11 as in 8.1.1.10 the only major activity is IRM where as in 8.1.1.11 the steps we need to follow are pretty much same as the steps we follow in an upgrade from 7.8 to 8.1.

Can someone help me in validating these steps?
