Question about multi-OMS - Is there a "Master" OMS?

Hi.

Our client is asking the following questions:-

"We are planning to apply PeopleSoft plug-in to our GIS OMS. Plan is to stop OMS on two nodes (RHEL 4.6) and apply on PeopleSoft plug-in on remaining two RHEL 5.5 nodes.

One of the RHEL 4.6 nodes (on this 4.6 version, PeopleSoft plug-in isn't supported), is the current master node for the OMS. Could you please help to get clarification on the below questions?

1. When we stop the OMS on master node, will the OMS stay up on other surviving nodes?
2. How to change the master node? "

OK. So they have a four node active/active/active/active OMS tier and this is all Grid Control 11.1.0.1. Forget the PS Plug-In point, for now. What we're really interested in, for this thread, is this concept of one OMS being the 'Master'.
