Migrating from SUSE Linux to RHEL

Hi,

We have a project to move an Oracle 11gR2 database from SUSE Linux to RHEL. What I need to find out is that if we can just install database software (same version) on RHEL and copy the datafiles/redo logs/controlfiles from SUSE LINU and start the database on RHEL or not.
