SMC Monitor Tasks

Hi all,

Looking at manuals I noticed that SMC has several subtasks, each one with specific monitoring functions.

Before ELS 7.0 I didn't find any reference in any manual about monitoring functions.

In the manual of ELS 7.X there is only one page about this topic (in my manual Configuring and Managing ELS7.2,  Chapter:Monitor Functions and Recovery Procedures  - Mount Monitor).

In my opinion one page do not describe everything we should know and considering the importance of this issue, I would like to know if there are other manuals or documents where I can find more information about monitoring functions, how does it work and so forth?
