Mobile Applications Unscheduled Count Entries?

in Inventory Management - EBS (MOSC) Question

Using Mobile Supply Chain Apps in an Inventory Organization (Non WMS). Cycle counts are entered on the desktop app and unscheduled entries is checked.

Can the mobile application be configured to allow unscheduled count when creating cycle count entries?

If Yes...

Is the process as simple as scan the item and locator and enter the count and if it is unscheduled it will create the unscheduled count in the Cycle count, or will a separate transaction be needed?
