New fields not syncing in SSSE.

Is it possible to enable synchronization for new Siebel fields for outbound SSSE sync with Outlook? I have tried adding the new field to the Integration Object. I have added the field mapping for inbound and outbound map in Administration - Integration, but it is not working. Can you please explain the steps for this?
