Q: what is the procedure to upgrade the firmware

A) There are a number of ways to upgrade the system firmware, and include from the web gui, the cli and from within Solaris.

In all instances a reset of the HOST OS will be required to complete the upgrade process.

Details of the upgrade are available in files supplied with the specific firmware patch you are installing.
