Oracle LDAP client installation with Siebel 8.1

Dear community members,

We are in the process of upgrading our Siebel 8.0 to 8.1. We are currently using LDAP for Web SSO (using IBM LDAP client) and have read that we should now use the Oracle LDAP client from Siebel 8.1.

Following the bookshelf, it is stated to install, on each Siebel server requiring LDAP authentication, an Oracle database client.

We already have an Oracle database client (11.2.0.3.0 version) for database connectivity between the Siebel servers and the Oracle Siebel database. Can we re-use this Oracle client for LDAP purposes or do we have to install another one ? This is not completely clear to us.
