How-to consume SNMP traps in OEM12c?

Hi,

I'm looking for a way to monitor  assets using snmp traps in OEM.

I have no problem in OEM sending out a SNMP trap as soon something fails, but I'm looking for the other way around. As soon "something" sends a SNMP trap it should be consumed by OEM and an alert has to be generated (i.e. by metric extension).

Accoding the documentation it should be possible, but I seem to miss the clue. Does anybody have this working (and is willing to share)?
