Running two CAPA classes and workflows simulataneously

Good day, I would be grateful for your advice on the following: our existing CAPA workflow and class has been modified.  In theory the existing (open) CAPAs should be closed before enabling the new CAPA workflow and class but that is almost impossible while the business is still running.

If the end user is careful can I have both enabled while the old CAPAs are closed out and eventaully disabled, i.e. only have the new CAPA enabled?
