How to restore an EPMA dimension from backup?

We have an EPMA shared dimension, deployed to many Essbase/Planning applications.

We have made some changes (adding and changing members) by mistake. We would like to restore a backup involving only this dimension.

We have a LCM export made last week, involving only this dimension.

We import it, taking into account that Migration Option “EPM Architect - Dimension Import Mode” is Replace.

However, new members added by mistake (which were not in export made) are still there. They were not deleted after importing it. So, importing seems to have make a merge instead of a replace. Is there a way to replace dimension completely?
