Regarding Eligible Comp Balance Feeds

Within 12.1.3, I have created a new earnings element and noticed that the balance feeds for my new element are not as extensive as one created in the past.  I searched and read over Doc ID: 360732.1

My question now is how do I determine what "Eligible Comp" balance feeds should I think about adding to my new earnings element?
