Timecard rate and Union rates table

Hello,

We are using the Union rates table for applying rates to the timecards based the union & job/step. The users updated the union rate table on May 2nd with new values that begin May 1, 2014 to April 30, 2015. They entered timecards after the table was updated for dates prior to May 1 and were assuming that they would still use the old rate from the table and cards dated May 1 or greater would use the new rate. This is not how it worked, all timecards have the new rate assigned to them. The pay period is from
