2nd archive destinations delays.

Currently we are running our database using EMC storage.  The primary database files is on vmx. I configured two archive destinations on the database for disaster protection purposes. 1 destination goes to vmx the other to CX4.  Since the VMX storage is faster than the CX4 I would like copy the archives through oracle, instead of creating the secondary archive destination , Is there a command can be set database to copy the log files to the secondary location in the database after a log switch.  I want RMAN to still know that these archives are there.  I don't want
