RMAN duplicate error: RMAN-05579: CONTROLFILE backup not found in

Hi folks,

Scenario:

Need to clone a db, which is running on ASM, but will clone on filesystem, when kicked off the RMAN duplicate command, got this error:

RMAN-05501: aborting duplication of target database

RMAN-05579: CONTROLFILE backup not found in /backup/20140502_full

Can any one please assist, how to fix this, this is an effort to built our QA environment from PROD backup, on a different box.
