Need Suggestion about Calc Field

Hi Guys,

Im going to inlcude a lookup value on a calc field and was wondering if it is a good idea to use one on a calc field. The data taht im gonna put on the lookup value will be more than a hundred and will probably be longer as time will pass. Can calc field handle that much data?
