Usability issue while accessing Siebel Open UI application from iPAD Safari browser

Usability Issues have been reported with Open UI web application (Desktop application, not Mobile application), when used in iPAD device with Safari browser.

For example:

  • Difficulty to select values from the drop down.
  • Opening MVG, pick applet is tedious.
  • Due to screen oversize, screen does not fit onto ipad width and user needs to swipe to see entire page and most of the time this swiping is very difficult and all the page is getting swiped and not the intended portion.

This leads to multiple taps for Opening MVG, LOV etc and results in a performance issue.
