earlier transaction date for uploaded asset

Hi,

We have uploaded capitalized asset through Component Interface. It was found that the In Service Date is incorrect, should be 2012-01-15 instead of 2014-01-15.

When changing, this error appears: 

"Asset has a cost history with a future transaction date. Please choose a trans

date after 2014-01-15. (8010,38)

Since this transaction may invalidate a

future change, you should review the future transaction.  You can then determine

if you should reenter this transaction with a date after that future

transaction."

Is there a way to change the In Service date to an earlier date? Thank you.
