After R12 upgrade, Revenue distribution lines pending with "pending account event generation" status

We are in the R12 upgrade process.  Afte rthe upgrade, In projects module,  we ran "PRC ditribute revenue " process.  process completed, but no revenue is generated.  revenue is error status saying 'Auto accounting error". Revenue distribution lines pending with  "pending account event generation" status. Anyone encountered this issue before. Were are looking for a resolution on this issue.
