2 Node RAC Database on ASM Vs NFS

Hi , We plan to migrate 2 node 11202 database on Solaris 10 to 12c. Right now the database is on ASM, management want to know what are the benefits / costs associated if we put new 12c database on NFS instead of ASM. Is there any document that tell the performance numbers / $$$ associated with both ASM Vs NFS? Right now the DB size is 2.5 TB and it is growing at the rate of 150 GB per month.
