Sending F9 email freezes Siebel Open UI

I have found a critical issue in Siebel Open UI. The F9 function used to send email is causing OM crashes. This is happening when using F9 with Outlook as external email client in OpenUI.

If we hit F9 key on any contact record, the template selected, now just close this new Outlook email window. This results in application Crash. Kindly advise ...
