Hi there,

When I try to activate auditd, it goes into maintenance.

I have come accross a document (http://www.sysadmindepot.com/Solaris/AuditingInSolarishttp://www.sysadmindepot.com/Solaris/AuditingInSolaris) that suggests that the 'set c2audit:audit_load = 1' in /etc/system is only needed for systems older than Solaris 10.

So now I am 1. Confused about what is supposed to be activating it in Solaris 10. 2. Why it would be going into maintenance in Solaris 10 3. Whether to use the entry in /etc/system on Solaris 10 or not.

TIA
