Un-reserved sales order line is not showing up as demand in Inventory

Hello Team,

I need help on the following issue in Oracle EBS Inventory (R12) -

If we book a sales order in OM and quantity is not
reserved then does Oracle create demand for this sales order in system
?

If yes, then I believe it should appear in "Item Demand/Supply" form in
Inventory > On-hand menu.

 

My question is - What set up is required in order to see that sales order
has created a demandfor that inventory item into "Item Demand/Supply" form in
Inventory. Assumption is we are not making any reservation for that item.

So far I have understood that if sales order line is scheduled and Schedule
