Weighted Average Cost

Hi, I would like to know if it is possible to use the inventory cost level 2 setup for a weighted average cost environment with multiple locations and lots. Where the cost would only be based on a branch/plant level and not location level. As I've saw a note in the oracle support document where it states that an inventory cost level 3 method must be used in a multiple location environment for weighted average cost items? Would an inventory cost level 2 cause any integrity or wrong weighted average cost calculations?
