P6 Analytics - Star ETL database connections - Performance Issue?

Hi All,

Have logged an SR for this but thought I'd try on here as well :-)

We are looking to run the P6 Analytics Star ETL process during the day to refresh the data on demand but have noticed that in each step of the ETL it reconnects to the database.

This isn't a problem in a batch overnight scenario but when there are 30 ETL steps and there's a 20-30second overhead at each step for the connection to be established (note we are just connecting to Oracle Exadata databases) this quickly adds up to about 15minutes.. when one would have though it should be almost instant.
