Weekly versus Monthly Forecast Periods

I have a client who wants to switch from Monthly Forecast Periods to Weekly. Luckily I had already setup the R3465 Extract Sales History program to copy weekly Sales in the F3460 table, however I am a bit torn on how to setup the R34650 Forecast Generation program's Processing Options for each of the 12 Forecasting Methods.  It was straight forward when it was monthly since all I needed to decide whether to have each method go back either 12 or 24 months to consider history.  But now that we are switching to weekly I'm not sure if to enter
