OGA requiring Accrue at Period End

Hi,

Our client uses the Accrual at receipt method and envisages to implement OGA.

According to the note 282251.1:

"When determining if certain projects functionality will work with Grants Accounting in the same operating unit, these are guidelines to keep in mind:

(...)

* Grants requires Accrue at Period End, so purchasing receipt accruals are not supported."

Could you let me know which other solution could be envisaged ?  What would be the impact should the client not change its Receipt Accruals method ?

No commitments visible in the OGA module ?  Others ?
