R12.2.3 custom objects deployment

in EBS Customizations (MOSC) Question

We have a question about custom objects in R12.2.3. In R12.2.3 custom objects deployment has been changed according metalink note id 1577661.1 and we have to follow instructions as mentioned in the note id 1577661.1   to support online patching (adop) functionality for standard applications as well as custom applications/custom tops. Correct me if I am wrong.

My Question:

     Do we have option to skip custom applications/custom top during online patching (adop). In layman terms can we skip online patching (adop) for custom objects ?

     If we can skip online patching (adop) for custom applications/custom top can we deploy custom objects like tables, forms, reports as 11i/R12.1.3 standards?
