BI Publisher - Excel template and missing fields

Hi to all

I'm starting to use BI publisher to generate excel files using excel templates, but I'm facing a problem that I don't know well how to solve

Lets igamine a simple report with just one section with:

item number

description line 1

description line 2

quantity

I want that my table has all four filed, so I map them

but if in the report output some items has an empty description line 2, this field do not appear in the xml so the excel preview gives an error. I still have not tested if this will generate also an error if launched on the server
