Ops Center 12.2 and SuperCluster

Given that there is a plugin for supporting SuperCluster in Ops Center 12.2, is there any special reason (on a technical rather than organizational politics of not playing well with others) to have a SuperCluster use its own installation of Ops Center on a separate host instead of building out a single host (or an HA pair if one's organization has the money and hardware resources) to handle everything? I'm not talking about some huge network of thousands of physical platforms with multiple installations of multi-rack SuperCluster which would probably tax a full T5-8 dedicated to Ops Center if the
