DNS Change and RAC

We have 11gR2 RAC with SCAN VIPs configured in the DNS. The DNS is going to change so we will have a new IP Address for the DNS which we will configure in /etc/resolv.conf.

Our clients use node VIP Address to connect to the DB i.e. they do not use SCAN VIPs.

In that case, simply changing the DNS in /etc/resolv.conf is enough or any change/restart is required in RAC too?
